Bhetki Paturi | Bengali Styled Paturi Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Bhetki fillet
  • 10g salt
  • Banana leaves (kolapata)
  • 100g mustard seeds
  • 15g green chillies
  • 30g salt
  • 3g turmeric
  • SARFA Mustard Oil

Instructions

  • Make a mustard paste by grinding mustard seeds, green chillies, salt, and turmeric with water.
  • Prepare banana leaf sheets by toasting them lightly over a flame.
  • Place a fillet on each leaf, coat with mustard paste, add a slit green chili, and a drizzle of SARFA Mustard Oil.
  • Wrap securely in banana leaf, tie with cotton string, and pan-fry for 5-6 minutes on each side.
